Hi everyone,
My EAD expired yesterday. I have called multiple times and the agents say it went into production 8/10/16 (two days after DACA approval). Unfortunately I cannot see this information in the USCIS case portal (my case says "In Process." My boss requested I submit proof that I began the process in order to continue working, unfortunately I do not know how long this will be true and whether or not I will receive my EAD before she changes her mind (or is legally forced to terminate me).

I got off the phone with a USCIS agent who before anything asked how many times I've called about the case as if the process wasn't entirely affecting our lives.... we're being terminated because of their delay and still choose scorn us for calling when we should be "thankful." She ended up stating that there is nothing she can do about what I see online and will likely not receive notice that my card went into production. But if it did shouldn't I have received a notice stating EAD was approved?

I believe a lot of this delay has to do with the proximity to our presidential elections, as much as I wanted better candidates I hope Hillary finds a way to help us... the other option, well lets say as much as I love Mexico I'd sure love to continue the life I've started in the US.

But most -most- cases in March should be approved by now. It's obviously they are not taking expiration as a consideration (since I am from the 8/17 batch), but i kind see their progress. I would seriously doubt they have lost information otherwise they would have already contact all cases in Feb and March regarding their BIOS, and so far there is no case reported. Also, most people in this website stopped checking once they get approved, which would explain the few on the spreadsheet that haven't updated their info. Please keep that spreadsheet up to date, it serves as a good reference for future applicants.
Sent my app on 3/25, still no renewal. There was another person who applied in February and they were still waiting as well. I wouldn't give ths tf spreadsheet too much thought.

Do you have any reason to believe USCIS found a problem during your background check? Honestly, it just seems like your application was part of their ELIS data corruption fiasco; are you able to view your scanned application via the "new and improved" ELIS web portal? Also, what has the NILC said to you regarding your renewal status?
No reason for anything in background checks, it's a simple clean case no AP either.
They have all my documents and NILC called before expiration that it would be approved that day - a week ago but nothing as yet.

Glad to see this message just now:

USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided.

Obviously the GC is actually the EAD. I'll let you guys know when it arrives. Good luck to you all!

My DACA/work permit have a notice date of 4/12 and I expire 9/4, so it seems to be in the batch of delayed applications.

Would it be wise to let that company know the situation? I guess the real question is, what do they look into in a background check and will the fact that my expiration date is 9/4 show up?

The SSN number on the application will match my name and all my references will check out. My ideal would be to show up on day 1 with a renewed work permit and leave it at that. I would imagine that I would be renewed by then. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
I wouldn't worry about it either. November should be plenty of time.

I sure did.

To others out there: it still shows my bio as pending, but I did a walk in and got that taken care of and obviously was approved. So maybe worry a little less and give a some more time. We'll all be okay .
