Well, a Tier II rep just called me. He must work on the West Coast because it past 8 here now. He said he put a note for them to schedule my bio appt, and I should hear back before 9/7. I also told him about my address change and whether that will affect the letter getting sent to me. He told me to call back to check at that time and have it faxed. I am also going to talk to my past apt and ask them if they could hold mail for me. He also mention it take them 30-60 days to get the appt scheduled. Not sure if this helps but at least something. I will still go to infopass though since if I can get it in hand, it would be the best.

I thought info pass was not useful judging from the posts here, and plus it had to be scheduled like two weeks in advance. But I am desperate now and wish I should have done that earlier too. Just hope they will be able to fix the application number and also the appt date. How long have you been waiting?

I just started a new job at the end of July, and I am starting to worry now. HR didn't say anything when I showed them the EAD card on my first day, and they haven't said anything since either. I think they will probably contact me soon though it just sucks that my bios are not even done yet so I can't even submit other inquiries or take other steps.

I talked to a Level 2 rep today and it was basically the same thing of you have to wait and there's no expedite bla bla bla. The only relevant information I got was that the service request I filed is actually handled by the person adjudicating my case, so at least I know my case is being looked at by a human being. Here's hoping next week will see a flood of approvals.
Spot on. Even level 2 reps noise is tiring at this point. Only "mistake" we have made is to submit as close to 150 day mark as possible.
Totally fine with approvals for later submissions not impacted by technical issue, but what doesn't make sense is there doesn't seem to be any urgency in sorting out people who have been impacted or at least providing a stop-gap resolution by extending EAD at local office while they sort it out.
Taking longer than expected is understandable but not providing an interim relief and instead giving the run around with scripted answers is frustrating.

Its completely not fair for people that sent their applications in february to have to wait all this time and lose their jobs. They should fix the problem first instead if approving people that applied in june or may. Its not fair to throw us february and march applicants under the bus just to cover up for their mistakes. Someone in USCIS need to man up and address the situation because the ones losing the most is us, the people that have a permit that has expired already, not people that are 2 or 3 months away from expiration. It's just not fair.

130 days and still pending... They are approving recent apps left and right which is great but can careless about us. My congress rep did another follow up for me today I'm waiting to hear back and I am going to call USCIS office once again Monday... I have exhausted all of my options ,now just hope and pray they start rolling this process like yesterday...
