I just got a notification that my bio appointment was scheduled! Hallejuah!! 157 days later. I hope the same goes for people like NotAPro and I can't remember who else was still waiting. Can someone tell me how do I print the notice again?

Hello,

I lost my job of more thatn 3.5 years last week due to my EAD expiring on 8/17/16. I uscis received my application for renewal 4/1/2016 (3rd renewal) and I completed my biometrics on 4/25/16.

I need help, I am trying to see my case status in the other USCIS account people in the forum have suggested (as the https://egov.uscis.gov does not show any updates since Apri).

It says I need an online access code in order to be able to add a case to my profile, how can I get that?

I got a call from an officer today from an officer and it was probably the least helpful thing ever, especially considering the information that you all have shared here. He said my background check hadn't come through and it was not USCIS' fault but another agency's. I wanted to call bullshit so bad, but I held my tongue and just kept asking questions. He said I should do an infopass (already did it, very unhelpful) or contact my congressional representative (also done, unhelpful as well) and insisted that i would just have to wait until that background check comes through. I love that it's in their culture to lie their way through phone calls..

I'm currently unemployed just waiting for my EAD after it expired 8/17.

Quick question?

I am probably shit out of fucking luck. My biometrics appointment has not even been scheduled after 80 + days.

What would happen if I send another application? At this rate I think I would get approved faster....

Any thoughts on that?

This is a great question I've also asked myself. Someone sent their application in on July 1 and got approved last week. Yeah.

Have anyone confirmed it with USCIS? It seems like they can provide us extension when it's delayed.

Doesn't hurt to check, but if anyone who expired already, does the self check come back with authorization to work?? If it is, it's true that benefits are extended while the application is pending. Might be worth a shot with employers etc who can run your I9 and check with eVerify that you are able to work.
