Ok guys! I will be expiring in about two days. I already did everything I could do under my hands. All the option given in this forum, I already tried them all and still nothing. I got an infopass, I went to the immigration office in Harlingen, TX. They said that extensions are not given, that expedite renewals are not given either. I spoke with HR today, they said after the 9, I will be terminated. I have a sign-in contract with the hospital, so I have to pay the bonus back, 5.000 dollars. I mentioned this to the rep about my contract with the hospital, she said that the hospital cannot do anything against me because it is not my fault and that I do not need to worry hopefully my application will be renew soon. The hospital that I am working right now has 27 lawyers working for them. HR treated me ok, they even offered me a paper where they stated they do not have enough staff and they need me working. But everything is useless. I went to the office of congressman Filemon Vela, I am explained my situation to the case worker, she only said she will keep me inform. I already filed an ombudsman, still waiting. I have been calling everyday and I get the same answer. I feel completely devastated. I am in the middle of my Bachelors in Nursing. I have to pay my debts. This is a nightmare. I am just hopeful that it does not take too long after the expiration of my current work permit. Wish you the best. Bye

Just check my status I was approved on Oct 4th card/document production. I was set to expire the Oct.30th

Should I call USCIS to see what's up? I expire on the 31st and still not past initial review.

I'm getting SUPER worried now because I fear that what happened was that they were misinformed at the ASC I went to, and that I actually needed to do that second biometrics (that it wasn't a mistakenly duplicated one, even though they were the ones who told me it was).

What to do?

Adding my name to the list. Checked receipt numbers before and after mine and they were all approved 9/25. I am getting nervous. Does anyone know if infopass appt helps? When do they usually put up appts? They are all full as of today.

From what I've read Infopass is of no help at all. Maybe you'll get lucky but unfortunately there seems to be nothing we can do. USCIS straight up lied about the temporary extensions to EADs too. The only thing we can do is keep using all the avenues available and maybe if enough people voice their concerns USCIS will move to do something about our situation. I feel very bad about some of these people who's DACA has expired without renewal.

why can't we expose that lie?? at least have that shit removed from the website so other people don't get misguided

Why are they only letting us apply 4 months before when they saying it can take up to six???? What about those two months we not covered? And supposedly no extensions? In really thinking about contacting my news station to see if there's any way to put pressure

Ugh yeah. We gotta do something about this. Still not approved as of today. This sucks ass.. I'm expiring on the 31st like wtf. I sent my app exactly within the guidelines and shit. I'm gonna call them first thing on Monday (I can't call them tomorrow since I'm hosting somebody at home who doesn't know about my status :\).
