1st I hear of a case being handled by the California center

I did and they don't do much. They just inquire about your case and USCIS gives them that same lame response that your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer.

Same here!! 6 months and 4 days and still waiting to be approved!!

I'm a 9/10 expiration and nothing yet

There's still some hope for you! Maybe they will get to your application before that date, so don't lose hope yet!!! I've been expired for a month now and apparently there is nothing I can do. This is all so frustrating!!

My EAD expired on 8/17/15 and my company keeps calling me to ask about the update -___- They put me on leave.
I keep telling them its out of my hands.

it's really a shame that they're letting so many of these expire. Why isn't cnn covering this shit storm?

Because we are not making enough noise about it. I wonder how many people right now are expired.

I'm still pending. Just received update that bio appointment was sent in mail. Hopefully I can walk in this week and get approved before my 9/22 expiration date.
