I reside in Chicago and received my biometric appointment for next month. Can I go before that date and do a walk in or do I have to wait for that specific time and date? Thanks

My guess is they'll start approving just short of the expiration date. That way our next DACA won't expire for another full 2 years from the initial expiration date of the first one.

Noooo. I don't care if we get our expiration dates moved up. I just want a renewal so I can start my new job next week in peace.

I certainly hope not. I hope they start approving as soon as possible. It would make sense for them to process these cases as quick as possible too because they don't want a backlog. I'm hoping that by early to mid-August we'll start receiving renewal notices for those people who applied in June.

It's only been 1.5 months since they started accepting renewals.
