I just got off the phone with an info pass officer. I coudlnt make my appointment today but they ended up calling me later.

He advised me to send the nebraska service center a letter signed by my work detailing why i need to expedite my case. My job has to confirm that they will terminate me or put me on leave while i get approved. It is obviously at the officers discretion, but it could work ( or so he said).

He also said that each case worker works on about 20 cases a day and some work faster than others. There is no telling how long it will take to get to my case.
I was told to do the same thing, and my Director of HR did so, but I am currently unemployed.

Good luck all, I updated the excel sheet with my info. Hope everyone gets their approval soon. See you in two years.
My dates are very very similar (except for 8/17 expiration). Hopefully yours was not just a fluke.

Got off the phone with a Tier 2 right now, pretty much the most helpful officer I've spoken to so far.

Basically told me they looked at my case on 8/19 so it's not just sitting at the desk gathering dust.

Also watch out for the reps that try to peddle you with the expedite requests to get you off the phone.

After checking here that someone with a similar timeline got approved.. I went in and checked my account and at last I am approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
see below:
"USCIS has approved your application or petition, or request. USCIS will mail your proof of benefit or USCIS action to you."

Please note that no one ever updated me on this and i do have an inquiry through a tier 2 rep and also through congressman

According to the spreadsheet and theory on the approvals they are wrapping up the end of March and getting started on the beginning of April. According to the theory they are processing the applications in what looks like 3 different bins. You should see an approval soon.

I'm on the same boat. I applied on 4/4. based on timelines posted here. USCIS is working from the top to bottom of pile. in other words, they are approving the ones received recently and the once that are old like in April, February are at the very bottom.

I wouldn't say this is true. It looks like they are approving newer applications concurrently with older ones that were delayed.
