ive been told that to. the lawyer i want to talk to is 300 an hr ugh so im trying to find someone else. but would i be able to apply for daca so i can continue to work?

Pretty sure DACA requires you to be out of status. Since you have conditional PR, I dont think you can apply for DACA. You best chance is to get all the evidents you can get to convince USCIS that your marriage was in good faith.

Conditional residents are required to file the I-751. You do not need your husband and you are still a legal resident after you file the I-751 until they deny your petition to remove it. Joint filing for I-751 is not necessary but you will need a waiver. Your task will be to convince USCIS that valid reasons exist to allow an exception to the joint filing requirement, by showing that your marriage was “bona fide” at the time and was not a mere “business transaction” to skirt immigration laws. You can file Form I-751 at any time if you have a final order of divorce or annulment. That's true even if your conditional green card is not close to its expiration date. Also, DACA will not apply to you because you are still a legal resident at this moment.

Yesterfay marked 11 months since they received our application. 9 months since our case “is ready to be scheduled for interview” and 8 months since I received my new EAD...sigh

Be patient. It took my application 15 months. From beginning to end.

I know, It’s just so hard I feel like my whole life is on pause. But I guess 11months is better than 1 month.
