I saw that in the November applicants thread too.

I'm hoping to get the G-1145 either tomorrow or on Monday. I know it was close to the election, but I've noticed that most late October applicants got their notification within 3-4 business days of their package being received by USCIS.

Can anyone tell me if we get the notifications randomly or do you usually get them in the mornings?

I'm on the same boat as a lot of people in here. It's been a month since my bio and still nothing. I sent an email to the Vermont SC a while ago asking for an update and just got a reply today saying that I have to contact the National Service Center first. At least I know they're active and not just ignoring things.

My sister actually got her email this afternoon. I still haven't gotten anything, yet.

Don't even trip out about it dude, the election just passed and Obama won, so applications are gonna flood the place, that's probably why they're saying it's going to be longer. It's a new thing and it'll take time. You'll get approved sooner or later and so will I. Slowly but surely

Did you send your packets in different envelopes or together? I know several people who sent their packet with their siblings and only one of them received an e-mail (though it did contain four receipt numbers, instead of two).

No, we sent two envelopes. I figure I'll get mine tomorrow or Monday. Do they send out the notifications on weekends? Our names are very similar and I don't want there to be an issue.

I know others have received notifications on weekends even though technically the centers aren't open, so I believe it is just a glitch in the alert system.

Okay, at least I know Saturday/Sunday is still a possibility.

I'll feel much more secure once I know my package is at a service center too.
