Go to the health department and get all the shots you need, it’ll be a lot cheaper and if you have insurance it might cover some of them.

“Interview was scheduled “
August 2018 update. Still no letter.
Called uscis twice already. One in October and other just last week.
They said no updates yet. It’s been 4 months now. Is this normal?
Please help I’m freaking out .
My case was received in August 2017

WTH!!!
Yeah, they keep raising fees. Not surprising, I don't think it would curtail anyone from applying though.

Medical exam is also a little expensive dependent on location. In addition, considering the current wait period for AOS you might have to do it twice if it was initially sent in.

Medical is valid for 12 months from when finished.

You didn't mention what they said.

Make an infopass appointment for more detail.

AOS package received 10/23/2017
Status changed to “Case is ready to be schedule for an interview” 1/5/2018
EAD approval 1/31/2018
EAD renewal received 11/29/2018
Status changed to “Interview has been scheduled” 12/4/2018
Side note; My DACA is still valid until 3/5/2019

QUESTION; Should I apply to renew my DACA even though I have already sent a renewal for my AOS EAD and have just recently received notification that my “Interview was ascheduled”. With such long waiting times, I’m worried that my interview will not be scheduled before my DACA expires in March and I don’t want to go into the interview not having anything else but the AOS EAD. I guess I’m my mind if anything goes wrong in the interview I’ll have DACA to fall back on. But money is tight right now and I can’t really afford to spend the $500 for the DACA renewal even though If I have to I will. Although I’m happy my status changed, I’m causiously optimistic. My status changes on 12/4 and still no sign of the interview notice date. What would you do?

I did my medical exam back in August of 2017 and my interview will be in Janurary 2019. According to everything I've read on this forum, it seems as if I would need to go in for another exam prior to my interview. However, I stumbled upon the update linked below from USCIS regarding a change in that policy. Are exams now considered valid for 2 years based on this update to that policy?

No, do not renew your DACA. Keep renewing your AOS EAD (if needed). Your status will be AOS Pending until a decision is made on your case.

What is this about?

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/loc...223067055.html

Immigrants seeking permanent green cards through marriage may have one less hurdle

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has revised one of its procedures for immigrants who got their green cards through marriage with U.S. citizens.

Green cards issued for those immigrants are normally conditional, and are only valid for two years. After that, those seeking permanent residence must prove their marriage was not intended to break the immigration laws and therefore is not fraudulent.

So apparently they will be more willing to waive the second interview to remove conditions?

I had my interview today in Atlanta. It was very brief and the officer just asked about our birthdates, full names and wedding date. She asked for something where it shows proof of our new address and that was it. She didn’t ask for pics but we still have them to her. Interview was very brief and my lawyer was present. He chatter her up pretty good and then the officer handed us a letter saying she was recommending approval. She said within 2 weeks I should have my green card.

Edit:
Just received the text saying my card is being produced.
