what in the world you all talking bout getting down on my knees. i work for the money i make, no1 hangs me their food.

you don't have to let anyone bring the bill down with any amendments... you just have to listen on the reasons on why they wanna vote no. and no; not all senators that vote no hate us. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) said she would vote for it IF we can only have renewable visas, but i say fuck her and her amendment... that's it, shes crossed off the list with that.

the number 52-YES that you see in the homepage is the number we got for cloture vote. those people decide if they wanna debate it; based on what the proposed bill looks like... if they find it worth it.

kids are being deported, families are being torn apart... when you get to the point that you feel your running out of time; then were gonna see how much your gonna get on your knees asking for something to happen quick.

No there will never be a right time. We must always fight for what we want until we get it.

Life did not "deal us these cards". You make it sound like we were born inferior and thus we must accept it. I think you are letting the opposition get to your head. Just because they tell us we don't belong here, doesn't mean we should start believing it. If illegal immigrants were the ones responsible for the loss of American jobs, and responsible for American students not getting into colleges, then of course I would agree with you and say we need to "stop demanding shyt". But eliminating illegal immigrants from the country is not going to create jobs for Americans because the majority aren't doing the jobs that Americans want, and it will not change college acceptance rates because if you have the grades and qualifications you'll get into a college and that's that. The people who are opposing us are, for the most part, people that didn't make it in life. They need a scapegoat to blame their problems on, and illegal immigrants are simply an easy target.

All of these politicians know that they would never send their kid to live in an unfamiliar third world country with no money and no guarantee of a means to support themselves. No one would do that to their child, and no one would want the government to do that to their child.

Well no, WE must fight for what is MORAL, RIGHT, FAIR. witch is to be able to be given a chance to succeed. the ones who oppose us come in many forms, may of them that are failures. yes they do scapegoat... i think that they are against immigration as a whole. they just don't say it b/c they don't wanna look retarded.

Anyone can go to college. anyone can get a scholarship if they are good. its not our fault that they take this for granted and sit with their legs up on the desk. as far as jobs go; they will always be sent overseas even at a time when the economy is down. during the Great depression, there were no illegal immigrants; and yet people were unemployed and homeless. witch shows you that we are not to blame.

no1 is getting on my head... i just wanna listen to the opposition so i can get them were it hurts more; the facts, debunk every stupid myth they come up with. THAT'S how you destroy them. you have all realized that none of their websites has an actual link to the original Dream Act Bill/text.

they passed the 86' amnesty and it failed. even chewbaca knows that they are right about that. what in the Dream act guarantees these people that 10 years from now not another Dreamies like us will want another path to citizenship for being here illegally?

we have to be realistic and think like adults.
That is really offensive. Just say that you were wrong and that those comments were uncalled for.

When the PICO network did a research meeting with Feinstein and Durbin, two organizations from Alabama where there and an Black organizer spoke on our behalf.

No, African Americans were not at risk of being deported, just beat up, kill and hang on trees.

Check at least the first hour of the documentary "The Eyes of the Prize" and get a hold of what people had to endure just to sit on a damn bus and get into college. Don't disrespect other people if you are asking for their aid and/or if you have no clue what you are talking about.

i didn't disrespect anyone, grow up... and i didn't say that every African-American hates us. neither does every Latino. You have Latino-Americans today that are against us. its called being a hypocrite. and it comes in all colors. i don't look at people depending on color or race... if they are decent people, then that's all that matters.

there's certain people that forget where they come from. for the ones who remember their struggles, they will be by our side... but for some, ignorance goes a long way. that goes for all the races who endured suffering here in the U.S. the Chinese exclusion Act, the camps they placed the Japanese during WWII, the Native Americans... don't argue with me on that, i don't play the race card game.

the videos you showed me are good, it shows you what kind of bad people we live with. this country has a dark past. it has a history of violence and hatred. it is something that still continues, but now its just covered.

you all jump the gun here... think realistically, people gotta feed their family... its not like they gonna say "oh well, i know what they going through, im o.k with them for working low wage and taking my job"... cause that's what people say. your not whats gonna put food on their table. and some of the people that oppose us are fking jobless.

Wow, very touchy videos OptimistinDenial.

I hope we're in the last wave of racist fucks. I'm was not making a racist remark when speaking about slavery. I tend to carry negro blood in me. My great grandfather was a Cuban negro.

I don't think you are racist. Neither for that matter, most people. Racist people hate other races, which is different from disliking other races or having stereotypes.

You were insensitive to others. You could have say something else instead of "slaves were not at risk of being deported" Use language in a way that advances your agenda, not put it backwards. If you want people to be sensitive to you, you need to be sensitive to others.

What I had said in the past but was misunderstood, is that often individuals do not speak with each other within their communities. This, lack of communication creates tensions that have no reason to exist and hurt everybody. Do you think only citizens worry about the economy? Only blacks? Asians? Every body does and if we are only playing the blame game instead of dealing with our issues, we will keep going in circles.

If I were a black person, I would be piss off for that comment and so would you. That would immediately shut down whichever communication we could had. It can easily be interpret as you saying that being a slave was less painful than being an undocumented person.

Injustice is injustice. They were wronged right and we were too and many other people in this country. Even if they do not accept my pain, I must accept theirs because someone needs to step up and be the grown up, as you so cleverly said so.

Winning our Dream is not going to be achieved by looking at the "many blacks, anglos, latinos and asians, catholics, atheist, gays" that hate/dislike us, but by finding those who do. If that means being innocent, unrealistic and immature, then let it be so. I rather be an optimist that reaches for the good of humanity than a realist that does not.

That also mean to write in a manner that educates and does not offend.
