It seems she wasn't completely in love with you, not saying she didn't like you. There are some people who have the same mentality as some of you on this forum but I'm glad to hear there are those that cherish love. Its best to come clean after the first couple of dates.

Now, if we are talking about a short month relationship just to get her/ him in bed, don't say a word lol
No need to sugar coat it. I now know she wasn't "in love". Had she been, we wouldn't have broken up. I won't lie, I felt horrible when it happened but I got over it. I've dated a few girls after that and now I'm OK. I'm single now so I gotta work on that.

hellz naw..but really it depends...if they are dreamers like us then maybe...but around where I live the ones that recently arrived tend to think they are the sh*t without knowing a word of English. Plus they are pretty stupid too. I refer to the Mexican females where I live.

You guys expect opportunities from others but yet refuse to give opportunities yourself.

I would if the person really fit my personality but they most likely would not. Hispanic people just have a different personality and view from mine most of the time. I am not joking. A great majority of my friends are Caucasian, Asian, or something else. I do not hate my race in any way, I merely do not seem to fit in with it. Why? I do not know. Sorry if this respond is a little puzzling but I do not feel like I am deeply rooted in my race or family. I feel like an outcast in my family while I fit along well with others from different races. Hopefully someone out there shares this sentiment.

This is perhaps why I have stayed here irrationally against my ideas and wants, because I know if I went back to my native country I would be a big outcast(although I am one here in the same way{lack of legal status] I like to believe it is less).

If I knew I would be happy around people in my native country I would have flown there two years ago and enrolled in ITESM.

The only thing I find "puzzling" is that it sounds like you think only Hispanics are undocumented.. so would you date an undocumented Asian?

I said if the personality fit. Yes, I would date an undocumented Asian or a person from another race. I never excluded Hispanics to begin with. I have just found the girls to have a personality that really puts me off a lot of the time. I honestly do value personality over looks as I'd rather be having fun than staring at a beautiful boring person.

Not to mention I have no clue where you got undocumented from that sentence you highlighted. I am indeed referring to legal and illegal in that sentence even if you believe otherwise.

The main differences probably stem from the culture, which has nothing to do with race(appearance wise) or status.

Well the question you responded to was "would you date an undocumented person".. so that's where. Anyway don't get so defensive, I'm not judging you.

Yes, I would because if I like/love someone, it is what it is. But I would but I have to be honest and say that is not my preference because I don't want to live like this forever.

P.S.
* I don't know why race was brought into this

*Diplock republicans create more social programs than democrats. the whole financial conservatism of republicans is a MYTH!!!

It's a majority although by no means the only group that encompasses undocumented. I acknowledge it was my fault for wording my statements poorly and not making them clear, but what you got was not really what I meant.

Perhaps I should have phrased it more along the lines of : Hispanic people in general, although particularly those undocumented, have a different personality and view from mine most of the time.

Personally, I don't see marriage in my future and I would never marry someone in order to become a PR (no judgment on those who do, I totally understand). But if I found out the person I was dating was undocumented, I wouldn't hold it against them of course. But like you said, it's not my preference, even if they would be more understanding than the average person.

It's all good. I think we all have groups of people that we find hard to identify with.
