Nice try but most schools had rifle ranges on on school grounds bc of their associations with ROTC not because of second amendments. Second amendments specifically protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

You fail.
The second amendment doesn't guarantee people rights to own arms. If it's a right, why would you need permission. This law was created waaaaaaaay back when the militia existed in the US. It was never intended for the general public.

I was just stating second amendment by its pure definition in regards to jkl's random blurt that "the second amendment is what kept S.Korea from becoming comunista pendejo"

if you want to be a doctor, don't worry about the whole language thing. I'm planning to do the same after I graduate in 2012. I know a guy who's graduated from Berkeley with a 4.0 and got into Yonsei University as a med student. He's had international friends that did not speak Korean much and they did fine. All the stuff you're going to study are going to be in English. They actually use English textbooks. So don't worry about that. You'll probably be at an advantage. haha.

Good luck!

Jlee,

There are many foreign students studying in korean universities. If you graduated high school from US, I believe you have a good chance in enrolling in courses for foriegn students rather then korean residents (according to the rumor, foreign student courses are much easier). Mandatory military service has been reduced to 1year & 6 or 8months. Best of luck, stay calm, and don't get provoked by some person off the internet, theres no point

Isn't the reason why most of you koreans don't want to go back to their "1st" world country is because of that compulsory military? But then why demand the Dream Act? lol in my opinion pure cowardice...

Um.. language factor? Korean is one of the hardest languages to learn. It's not like Spanish -> English. Also, education in S. Korea is very competitive. Top 3 schools in S. Korea has less than 1% admission rate. If you don't speak Korean and you had to compete with people who speak Korean, and take Korean exams, you would end up at the bottom.

Tell me, if someone drops you off at a country where you have no acquitance, and you don't speak the language, you would wind up washing dishes at a local food place, struggling to pay rent, let alone paying tuition. (min wage in S.Korea is less than $3/hr)

Right to bear arm has nothing to do with saving our nation from communism. In fact, S. Koreans do not need guns to keep their democracy. It is people's choice.
I don't really know what kind of logic that was used in jkl's mind.
If you want to wipe GOP's asses and get deported later, that is fine with me, cuz that is your choice. As many of us Dreamers say, we do not have voice in GOP. All of us are dust to them.
Let's see what they think about jkl. They don't even consider you as a slave. You are dirt.

In fact, the reason I mentioned 2nd ammendment was that GOP's want to defend it while they want to repeal the birth right citizenship. Do you understand what that means??
They do not want any immigration here, and want to shoot you down with their guns.
Do you think they are going to save your ass from communism with their guns??
In my opinion, communism is better than Nazism, which is based on White Supremacy and hate.
Go ahead kiss their butts, bro.

Just came in to chime in and Call BS on this statement. Everyone knows it was wave after wave of piling Russian bodies which would have eventually saved the day; even w/o American Intervention. The south Pacific on the other hand, it's a different story.
