On the issue of Mitt Romney, considering he will be the front runner over some of the most conservative of individuals voting in the country I wouldn't be surprised if he pandered for an overturn while in office.
He will not even consider overturning this. I have to disagree with you on that one.

Even if he does, Romney would never be reelected... Next democratic president would give it to us again...

After we get through this, I think effectively we will be under the umbrella. Hopefully everything goes well for all of us...

What if this? what if that?

How about let's wait for August 15, fill up our papers and actually live normally!

Worry about it for November.

EVEN if Romney wins... its not like he is going to attempt to change the law on his first day of office. He will have bigger priorities that he will tackle first.

Dude, the executive branch appoints between 6 and 8 thousand people. Yeah, on the first day of work they'll settle in, but on the second day they have to get to work. Some people will start drafting a memo to rescind the previous memo (hell, it can be just one paragraph -- Blah blah, I, the attorney general rescind the memo of June 15, 2012.) and then the memo can be signed and passed on to the relevant organs on day 3.

The race is also looking fairly close so far - keep your eye on this page, the guy who does the statistical analysis has been very very spot on previously.

Mitt Romney does not stand a chance against Obama, regardless of any statistical analyses out there, the bottom line is that a lot of everyday middle-lower socioeconomic level American voters cannot relate to Romney. Secondly, there would be a major backlash from several communities if the Deferred Action for Dreamers is rescinded; doing so goes against what this country is about and would be an unwise decision. Nothing will be rescinded, bottom line.

I m gonna apply as soon as it becomes available? Why? Simple, I want to have a work permit for at least 2 years, it is better than nothing. However, I honestly think Mittens has no chance in hell in winning come November 6th.

First of all, it's pretty weird assuming that Romney will be president when he doesn't stand a chance.

And secondly, he has been keeping his mouth shut about this policy. He knows that if he says he won't overturn it, he will lose a lot of votes from rednecks, and if he says he will overturn it, his campaign will be crippled by the huge base of people that support Dreamers.

In other words-- he doesn't have the guts to overturn it.
