You can own one legally then bro. I keep mine by my bed side. You just never know. If you have a short fuse then I don't recommend you get one.

I asked my brother in law, he is a resident and he said all they asked him was for the driver's license.

Would be nice to own a gun for recreational use like to go out and do some target practice and for home defense.

You can always buy a used one with your id only (texas) I went to a gun show last week, I really liked this glock handgun so I asked the guy what was it that I need it to buy it, it turns out all you need to provide them with is a government issued Id and theyll do an fbi background check on the spot, dont know ig immigration statues will come up on the check they do, but what brocke the deal for me was that on the background check form it asked for immigraton status and it clearly says that you have to be a pr or citizen to buy a gun, so I was like nevermind, what if itcomes up when they do the bacckground check at uscis that I had acquired a gun or something. Ill just stick to biying my guns from owner to owner, individuals dont have.to report who they sell their guns to, unless they are involved in a murder or something.

I live in AZ and I think the gun laws here are pretty lenient with the purchase of a firearm, don't know if I will be able to buy one because I can't get a driver's license or i.d., but I would like to buy a hunting rifle and maybe a pistol to hunt

You CANNOT own a gun if you are not a permanent resident or citizen. The ATF website strictly says so. Anyone whom owns a gun and does not have legal status may face felony charges. The person that also sold you the gun can face felony charges. Gun owners have been warned not to simply sell a gun to anyone that comes up with an ID or DL.
