I paid my mechanic $30 to come with me and check the car out. if you decide you like the car, see if the seller will split the cost to get the car checked, if so take it to a legit place they charge about $100. They will tell you every little thing wrong with the car including wipers lol.. so don't think too much into it but sometimes it will give you more negotiating power.

GET CARFAX!!!! The cost is minimal .Get the carfax to see how much work has been done on the car or if it was ever in a flood zone etc. Say no to cars that have been flagged for being in flood zone regardless of how good of a deal you THINK you are getting.

You don't need insurance info or anything.. I would have the seller meet me at a DMV. Pay her once she signs the title over to you after you ensure the car belongs to her/him. Usually if they can show you a title, they are legit. I paid all cash and had her "gift" it to me on the title. Saved like $1,400 on taxes!

I have an acura cl type S. It's a nice 2 door car, but I put so many miles on it. I am glad for the amazing honda engine.

I told my brother that I wanted to get a small SUV once I got my EAD and a good job. I was leaning Jeep for a while, and then my brother started talking up the BMW X3....Now I am in love with the X3.

I would love to get it, but it will be an unnecessary buy for this time of my life...but ohh I just wish I could stop being so logical and financially responsible for once.
