Results may vary. And that includes all aspects of life. Words of wisdom.

They usually arrest you and take your fingerprints. That's weird. I guess Chicago land cops are racist then.

Once I become a cop in the near future I'll let the future dreamies go with a donut or something.

I guess it depends on the cop, a year ago the state tropper that pulled me over told me that he could arrest me for not having a DL but that I "looked like I nice guy, and that I didn't have anything serious on my record " so he let me go, with the ticket of course, he just said to call someone with a license to drive the car for me, and he told me to get my DL asap. I guess that was nice of him, but he also pulled me over for doing 65 on a 60, and I just got a warning for that.

The other 3 times I got pulled over the cops let me drive home even after giving me the ticket for no DL, which seems weird to me, but oh well lol.

Wow, now I'm wondering if I should still go for it knowing I got arrested twice and went to jail and also they got my fingerprints and picture twice before and all for no license. Freaking racist cops.

If your car is a cop magnet, fix it up. Don't cover up the plate, make sure all the lights work, forget about ghetto accessories like dark covers over the taillight, ghetto rims, etc. Make your car as normal looking as possible.

As far as fighting the ticket, the court isn't stupid. They'll see your license was issued after the ticket. Since it's a non-moving violation you could maybe make a case and maybe the DA would be nice and take pity on your situation.

Normally a traffic ticket wouldn't disqualify you, but they can add them up if you have multiple infractions and they will take that into consideration when making their decision whether to grant you Deferred Action or not.
