Couldn't agree more. All the name calling, sarcasm, and rudeness isn't necessary. There are ways to get your point across without being disrespectful towards others.

We are not all in the same situation. Some of us are more proud of our lineage and have a nice country to go back to. They see DREAM Act as merely another step to success and an inconvenience if not passed.

But others have a third world country to go back to where they'll end up with a horribly abysmal life. They see DREAM Act as absolutely crucial to success and are dependent on it.

I have been creeping on DAP since 2010 and in July decided to make an account. And OP is right!! there use to be a lot of positive energy and helpfulness, and to an extent there still is, but the negative/rude comments have gotten out of hand

Bickering and arguing on this forum has been going on forever.. in fact the bickering and such was the reason that a few older folks decided to move away from the forums and actually do real work on the ground activism i.e DREAMactivist.org and the NIYA

it's because some people always have to have beef with other people because they don't agree with their opinion, and people will always have opinions that suck or do things that suck. that's just how forum communitries are. so people need to give people chicken thighs instead of beef, it's just not good for our health.
