Do we get one 1099, W-2, etc. or more than 1?
omg, i'm so confused

question. When we do our taxes doesn't the employer also get a letter from SSA saying that our SS# and our name don't match? Then they know that our SS# is false right??

I can only speak for myself but I've been working with my social security number that I was issued when I came here but it says not valid for employment. When I was younger I got a social security card that has the same info but they took off the part that says not valid for employment. I think to do that at the time cost like $400 done illegally of course.

I have been working for the past 10 years and filing taxes and getting refunds since I started working. In fact my social security number actually has the wrong birth date on file and that has never come up at any time of me working.

Hope that helped somehow.
