Secured credit cards are good options for rebuilding credit because they typically don’t require a credit check. If you have enough money for a security deposit, then you can get a secured credit card. Whether you've filed for bankruptcy or just need some help stabilizing your finances, you can get your act together if you make an effort to be penny wise and careful in the future. The more positive information you can add, the more your credit score will improve.

Try capital one, It was my first card and I hear is like the easiest card to be approved for. If you are reporting more expenses than you are income, obviously they will not approve you. If you make to little, that could also lead them to deny you. Some cards may have some sort of minimum annual wage you must meet to be approved.

I first started with discover as my first credit card about a month after my EAD. So far it's been great, I started with a very low credit limit but as you pay your bills on time they automatically increase it over time
