I didn't have to do parallel parking. Just the 3 point turn, regular parking, parking on a hill, sudden stop, and reverse down the road. I forgot to use the hand brake when parking on a hill though LOL but he let me passed. I actually waited for a person to do the test before me, and so I know where to expect what, and just didn't repeat the same mistakes the person did. It helped me a lot. Do not forget the car registration and insurance!

How do they make you do the parking on a hill one? Do you just explain what you do or do you pretend you are on a hill and do all that needs to be done? And how is the sudden stop? Do they just make you drive straight and then yell stop? Where I will be taking my test is a parking lot, I don't know how they can test you for all these things in such a small amount of space.

Please let me know, I should be going in soon. Thanks!

Yep, we pretended we're on a hill, in a regular parking lot ^^
For the sudden stop, when I approached a straight empty road, he asked me to go 20 mph and keep going until he said stop. Do not slam on the brake. Make it a little smooth but not too smooth that your car keeps skidding. The DMV I went, they have their own area for the driving test though. So be careful and good luck!

So I passed today. It was a actually a breeze. Did the 3 point turn, parking, and reversing for like 40-50 feet.

Not going to lie, I did get emotional while I was waiting for my Driver's License. It's more than a license, it's about the bs we had to deal with not having one.

I was designated driver for the first time ever for my friends and I fn enjoyed it. After I dropped my last friend off to his house.. it hit me. I could go anywhere I want right now. Anywhere! I could go to cvs right now and get something. It's weird having this kind of freedom. I could go drive to the beach tomorrow and chill by myself. Something I always wanted to do.

And I believe today is the 1 year anniversary of the DACA announcement.

Congrats! Since Fri, I've been driving everywhere. Today, for the first time ever, I drove to class(college). What a weird feeling that was for me. Our days are going to to be a lot more efficient with a car. I'm loving it!

Hey guys I just got approved on the 12th after close to 9 months of waiting, going to apply for my SSC tomorrow and then getting ready for my DL...
Although I've been wondering if I can still get a License here in FL...
Like what's up with that Rick Scott deal? Can I still get it or no?

Ask the SS people to give you a statement(it's called something) saying that you are going to get a SS number. It will be an official paper they give you. That way you can go directly to the DMV and use that as proof for SS#.
