Stupid people get DUIs. Dreamers should not be associated with the term stupid. We fought too hard for our only chance.

Fuck the public perception of DREAMers. If you drink and drive, you are committing the moral equivalency of shooting a gun in public with a blindfold on. DACA or not, you should know better and take a fucking cab. It's not that hard, and you deserve to lose DACA/go to jail for DUI.

I hate your argument. It's not that you are defending dreamers with DUI that bothers me but the way you go about it. The case you mentioned is very unfortunate and most likely he didn't deserve the DUI. However, you are abusing this case to argue that because a very small number of DUI's were issues by a poor judgement, every DUI must be forgiveable. In that case, since some immigrants do really deal drugs and are involved in gangs, we must all be gang members and drug dealers. Heck, since some people are serial killers and we are people also, maybe we are all serial killers.

See how pathetic and disgusting your argument is? It's pure stupidity. It's an argument that a politician would make to poison a debate and I hate it. The people that makes these kinds of arguments are the very reason that progress is hard to make. You should know, that the argument listed above about immigrants and gangs is actually the argument frequently used against us and now you are using the same method to defend your case.

If you truly seek that DUI's deserve a second chance, argue it the right away. Ask the people why should a person be defined by their worst mistake. Reason. Research. Do something! Don't spew nonsense and take the easy path everytime.

This poll is a waste of time because DHS is already processing deferred action cases that involve DUI and making a decision based on their interpretations.

It's merely an opinionated poll that entices people to post hurtful and demeaning comments. I recommend that this topic be closed, because there are no positive outcomes coming from this thread and it's not helping anyone

How DARE users here have their own opinion!

we are aware everything and anything we say does not matter to DHS.
