The people that makes these kinds of arguments are the very reason that progress is hard to make. You should know, that the argument listed above about immigrants and gangs is actually the argument frequently used against us and now you are using the same method to defend your case.
If you truly seek that DUI's deserve a second chance, argue it the right away. Ask the people why should a person be defined by their worst mistake. Reason. Research. Do something! Don't spew nonsense and take the easy path everytime.
