Stay tuned for more of the same! This result means nothing for the next two years at least. Unless there's a repube in the Oval Office they won't be able to pass anything major. And you can always count on the Republicans to screw themselves over.

I think we've been in gridlock town for quite some time now. The status quo will just continue. As far as immigration is concerned, I don't think anything new will happen unless Obama issues an EO. I doubt the republicans being in control of both houses is something to worry about either (increase in deportations, ect). Now let's just hope that the democrats can find someone that is charismatic and young for the 2016 presidential elections.
