I try not to think about it even tho it can be a reality. I just live everyday like its my last, I had a bad habit of thinking oh well why should I go back to school or try to pursue so and so when this can be taken away from me in a flash. But my thing is who knows what can happen? They can pass something that legalizes only daca recipients, you may get married to your USC bf or gf before that time. Dont lose your mind over it.

Okay I have cried like 3 times today when learning that Trump has won and that his views towards DACA is to end it. I moved to Seattle and live on my own...no family or friends near me to talk to. I am 21, I was promoted at my current job and was sooo happy living my life...now I don't know what to do. I have been on the computer trying to get an idea of what will happen, but there is no accurate answer. Most likely, it seems that our time with DACA is done...I have laid all day doing nothing. Because when you don't know, literally, what your future holds, you can't move forward. I will continue to go to work, but I don't know what to expect in my life here and I was feeling pathetic and hopeless all day. However, I just spoke to my mom from back home and she was like, "stop crying, you have gone through worse! So what if you don't have work permit or residency, or even if you move back, you will have an amazing life because you are smart and beautiful!" And I am writing this because I stopped laying on my bed hopeless, I have realized, even before the DACA, I had dreams and belief in myself. Even when I was illegal, I knew I had a bright future, not because I was in the states, but because I am me and I believed in myself to keep on going even if odds are against me, and to never give up. I want all of you DREAMERS to never forget that because we fought the waves that was against us from day one, we will never give up on our futures, if we fall we will find a way to stand up again.

Well the house just voted to freeze DACA today. Hopefully this doesn't open doors to stop DACA in general.
The date on the article is January 14, 2015

Which is scary because if trump DHS appointee doesn't ended DACA congress can vote on a bill to end it and trump could easily sign it

I don't think Trump and repubs are going to waste their time on going through the process to get a bill passed and signed, instead of just telling their DHS cronies to shut down DACA internally.

Nobody knows.

Trump may save us all. Trump may deport is all.

Nobody knows. But if you want my opinion. I think Trump will pass something to gain that Latino vote for the Republicans.

Possible if the repubs aren't stupid and are able to see this opportunity they have for the next 2 years.

But if Trump messes with DACA, then not sure anything will be passed.

Very high probability.

It's time to start thinking about other alternatives...
