I love how somehow you think you are turning this around by adding LMAO! and smiley faces.

I can't imagine NOT preparing yourself for renewal time if you have a job. I have people that depend on me, mostly parents, so I can't just make up silly excuses like I am struggling to save 1 dollar a day for 504 days. If you are not saving money for your next renewal, its obvious and clear you care little for DACA.

Exactly this - stop going to the movies, stop eating out, and take this money and place it in a saving account. This is seriously hard for some people here?

Ok, what you're referring to is two total different things.

1)Your co-worker is a dumb ass who has no excuse.

2) The OP couldn't afford to pay the fee.

I remember two years ago I didn't have a job and didn't have the money to pay for the application. I had to beg my low-life of a father who put me in this situation for the money because my family and I were already struggling. And even then he didn't feel the need to provide something as important. My family and I had to pull it from everywhere to get the money. So, no! Not everyone is as fortunate, maybe that's why I sympathize because I know how it feels.

1. My coworker is an amnesty recipient. He has thrown away opportunity after opportunity and has so much child support and other things that he has to borrow money for the bus.

2. OP couldn't pay the RENEWAL fee. I have sympathy for a young person who doesn't have the initial fee, but as important as this is to their life, I would think after a few months, they can clean enough toilets to get it. In OP's case, she's had a work permit for almost 2 years. She could have gone to any McDonald's, any Starbucks, or any Fortune 500 and apply for work. No excuse there.

There's people that put themselves in situations like that and there's other that things just happen.
You don't know every single thing about someone and/or why they're in situations like that so don't get all worked up about it.
My husband pays 700 a month for my tuition and pays all the bills because for me is either school or work we have kids and on top of everything we can't afford daycare so no I didn't have the money for my renewal and I'm so thankful I have the family I have to help me with it if I didn't I would be in a situation where I wouldn't have had the money for the renewal on time and probably would've had to take a month off of school to pay it. So chill, it's life and it's OK to be late, we deal with the consequences and keep it moving, have sympathy or stop commenting, you sound very frustrated

All about priorities. This should be the biggest for someone who has it. Eat Rice and Beans, take one less class, drive an older car, don't goon a date, whatever it takes (Don't say it Piano...)

Go find a therapist, why do you care if someone did not renewal their DACA prior to the expiration day or the 120days window. Move on and get a life, i want read good information in this forum not annoying B**ches complaining about someone else case.
