Oh dude! That's crazy! When did you apply?

Yours was quick too. That's great. Congrats!

Oh no! That sucks. You applied before I did. I'm truly sorry. What is Uscis telling you? Besides just waiting? Is there anything wrong or what not? It just sounds like you should be getting more concrete answers by now, not that they care. Just keep calling. I know that's probably what you've been doing but you may get lucky and talk with someone that actually cares. I think that's what did it for me. Either that or contacting my congresswoman.

They keep telling me I have to wait for 3 months after DACA approval for service request. Calling my congressman wouldn't help I live in Alabama most don't want us here anyways lol. Is getting close to 3 months now so I hope I get it before that if not I'll be calling that day for a service request.

Can't believe this whole renewal is going to take almost a year...

Oh man I am so sorry you're still waiting. I really hope you get approved soon. On another note, I lost my job offer but I'm thankful I have finally received my card. I know other opportunities will come my way. I really hope your job waits for you. Take this as the most agonizing time-off ever. I am being very hopeful and I really don't think Trump is ending DACA so we should be ok as far as that goes. So don't stress yourself too much. I know it's hard.

Horrible! So you can't even do a service request?! Augh! That's ridiculous! Have you tried doing a service request on your daca? Just as an excuse to get someone to look at your case? Or to be able to talk to a tier 2 rep? Just a thought. I know. Renewals shouldn't take a year. And my advice is to call your congressman. Seriously! I contacted mine not before doing research on her and how she hates people like me. But I was so desperate and figured the worst thing that could happen is her refusing to help me or no response at all. To my surprise I received an actual response from her via email about a week after I contacted her through her website. I was asked to send a release form and I faxed it right away. Next thing I know I was approved! You are contacting them about a procedure that's already in place not to advocate for you or anything like that. So I really urge you to contact your congressman. It's their job!!! You have nothing to lose. And maybe just maybe you'll get something going. You never know. Like I said I don't know what did it for me. It could have been just coincidence. I don't know. But I really think it's worth a try.
