I agree with the previous post.
Someone told me that someone with DACA was able to adjust via employer. If that is true, it means that employers have a major pull.

Who? Do you have proof? Was it a friend of a friend of a friend?

I find it hard to believe.

I do not have proof, so, what happened is that my friend, a coworker, was offered a job and the company offered to do this for him after 2 years of employment. Because he never thought DACA would end, he ended up not taking it and went to work for my current company (my company is better). He said among the people who interviewed, there was another dreamer who took the job. Apparently the company followed through, they make fridges and jet engines. Apparently for them it was no issue.

I honestly do not believe it, but he assures me it is true...

I asked him if the girl had some sort of different status and he said no.

I just figured I would share to discuss. I know we have talked about it but nevertheless it is a possibility given how much influence corporations have on individual cases.

Do you think my question is worth an infraction? Because Swim19 just gave me an infraction for asking it.

You got an infraction because we can all see the troll motive behind your so called innocent question.

Lol infraction for trolling. Yes, the catch all for a problem user. I know I handed out plenty of trolling violations in the heyday of a small now dead forum. Save yourself the trouble pianos, modding is just glorified janitorial.

Also how come ya left the chat? Been missing you there.
