I was reading in another article that she was a few months too old to apply for DACA, but with the felony charge she probably wouldn't have qualified.

This was more than likely directly related to change in deportation priorities from the EO.

Do you happen to know if she was convicted of Identity Theft or was it just working illegally?

From the article I referenced:

Quote:
In 2008, she was swept up in one of former*Maricopa County Sheriff*Joe Arpaio's work-site raids targeting the Golfland Entertainment Centers, which operated several water and mini-golf parks. Sheriff's deputies seized hundreds of employment records and later arrested Garcia de Rayos*at her house in Mesa. She pleaded guilty to a*charge of criminal impersonation, a Class 6 felony, the lowest level.

People arrested at a protest for her. They were trying to block the van they thought was carrying her.

Its telling that regardless of what she did under Obama she was not deported, the minute trump took over 8 years later she is ordered removed.

Exactly - stuff Obama tolerate trump will not tolerate. So if you ever were arrested or have duis or worked illegally (used a fake SSN) and obama said it was fine well guess what. This is trumps America now and he might come after you

There is a difference between impersonating and using a fake ssn. Most of us and our families and thousands of undocumented immigrants have used fake ssn. Even DHS knows this, however, you are still able to AOS. The issue here, is she probably used a fake name to match a SSN, or she used someone's ssn and that someone filed for identity theft. that is different than someone coming up with his/hers "imaginary" number.

There is a huge difference however this doesn't change the fact than when obama was president she wasn't deported. Now that trump is suddenly now she's a priority to deport. If anything this is giving us an early sign of daca remains alive, it will be done to exclude "bad hombres" and with trumps ambiguity who knows what that means. My point is in the next couple of months we all better behave our best and stay out of trouble as much as possible

This is what chessmaster05 was referring to. Not that there is a huge difference between when obama was a president and she was not deported.

You said that a fake SSN is a factor of being deported, it is not. The lady in question was deported because of identity theft. We all agree Trump will be not tolerate this kind of stuff. I think everybody here agrees with that.
