I totally agree. But, they will screw you over IF YOU ALLOW OR MAKE IT EASY FOR THEM to do so. That's why you have local non-profits going around with pro bono attorneys counseling immigrants on their rights. Sometimes, ignorance kills us. I feel bad for the Arizona woman who was deported. But, she was caught with a false ssn document. Felony. What can you do there? It's like lying to an agent about your status to an agent. If you do, you are royally fucked.

Hate to play Devils advocate here but if these deportations and raids make headlines, it will help us down the road when/if Trump decides to help us out. He will be able to claim that ICE is hard at work removing the criminals and that we are good people that deserve to stay.

Trump on ICE raids: ‘Merely the keeping of my campaign promise’

It has begun. Trump just said the raids are part of his campaign promise in getting the bad people out. These raids will help us when/if he something is worked out for us. We are the good people, and he is getting rid of the "bad ones" harming the country.

So I guess that lady, who was only trying to feed her kids, working, and keeping her head down was one of the bad ones.

I'might not saying she was. That's neither here nor there. We are all the same to Trump supporters. Trump has said several times that DACA recepients are good people in order to place us in a separate category in order for something to be worked out for us in the future.
