Yup same here - these spoiled new generation of dreamers who followed the 'do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life' mantra which ofcourse is true because you probably won't find a job for it.

I admire your passion to help this person (perhaps you) but she should work hard for her decisions. Again, the option of webcam for money is possible.

Update: Excuse my ghetto online persona. Anonymity is awesome. Drop your elitism and maybe some STEMCELL here will take pity on you and the girl.

I agree, she should be thankful that she was able to get a degree. Her decision if it has not helped her get enough money.

I am however all for helping those who are unable to get instate tuition because of idiotic Republicans.

Any financial help should go to helping those in most need. As far as I know California is pretty generous. They even give out financial aid.

I wish I had that. I am just thankful I was able to pay instate tuition. Many did not have that privilege.

I do not like this that she is asking for money to pay for college. Get a loan.

She already has a loan and scholarships to pay for school. She is asking for money to pay for the interest on the loan since private loans are not subsidized.

That is just pure irresponsibility..

Pay your own interests. Unbelievable, worry about those unable to afford medical care.

I worked for a whole year after high school and through my bachelors and masters degree, without DACA! I had $0 debt when I graduated.

I am just not feeling sympathy for her. Sorry.

I understand her situation, but GoFundMe it's supposed to be for emergency hardships. Like a family member passing away, or losing your home in a natural disaster or battling and incurable disease.

Not being able to afford school does not qualify as a hardship. She's not the only person in this situation. I feel like this comes off more as an entitlement.

Also, another thing that stands out is that she's from California, and mentions that as an undocumented student she couldn't qualify for ANY financial aid.

Well..Governor Jerry Brown signed the Dream Act into law back in 2011 which allows undocumented students to qualify for financial aid under the state of California.

She seems like she has had all the help that she could get with scholarships, loans and financial aid. I'm sorry, I'm not being heartless, I'm just being rational.

Its like saying. I only have money for a Honda accord, but I want a Lamborghini so help me pay for it instead. People can't always get what they want. How can I buy something I can't afford? I was accepted to USC and UCLA but couldn't afford it so I just went to a state univ instead.
