Well, perhaps he would be forced to sign, but that will not be required, because republicans will be in charge in ensuring that does not happen. Remember it is the legislative branch who decides what is in bills.

Trump has not come out and publicly said. I want a Dream Act only bill on my desk to sign.

Until he does, that will be the game Congress will play. I believe a Strong border security bill, along with sound DACA legislation, even the Dream ACT would have a good chance of passing.

I feel hopeful. However it's the "compromise" part that brings me down a bit.

We NEED to make our voices loud and clear! Tell immigrant organizations to PUSH FOR A COMPROMISE ( *cough* UWD *cough* ) and tell your Democratic and Republican representatives to begin the talk of compromise, or else nothing will get done,

If DREAM Act is on the table, Less immigration(Cotton plan), Border Security(most of Congress D and R), and Funding to start the wall is on the table. It will all pass.

Compromise goes both ways, the both parties needs to know the meaning of it. With that said, Democrats won't give the farm away to save 800k that cannot vote.

Now Trump gave us all hope to pass something while pressuring Congress to act.

I am feeling hopeful that we will get some sort or relief or green card.

Anyone else feels hopeful?
If Trump punched you in the face I’m sure you’d say thank you.

I am.

I've been here since 1999 and I can't remember one time where there was this much exposure to our situation. Yeah there were those marches throughout the states on May, but it always felt like it was just the Hispanics/Latinos talking about it for the most part. Now with the growth of social media there seems to be more exposure coming from all different kinds of people and even from overseas. The exposure is out there. I just hope we're not forgotten soon.

Both parties are going to feel the pressure to do something for us and I feel like the Democrats will need to put their pride aside and compromise with the Republicans to give Trump what he mostly want, that damn stupid wall that won't even do anything, but anywho that wall would mean so much to us.

Hope dies last.

I am 50/50.

I think we have momentum and a lot of support even from people who once were against DACA. But my gut tells me this momentum will fade away over time. And our situation will become less relevant.

At the end of it all I pray that it all works out for all of us.
