Do lurkers count? I've been lurking on/off since ~ 2010. Decided to join this year. I'm as old as most of those I've PMed.

Yes I understand. Sadly you're not the only one...

It was pretty much like Dream Act bypassing all the bullshit in Congress and becoming reality. Think about it..we got everything we wanted, right to work and drive.
Hahaha yes I hear you!

This should be a thread (if not already) - where were you on Jun 15, 2012. I remember hearing the news and quite literally falling off my living room sofa! Couldn't believe it.

Before DAP, it was CosaOnline. That site ended up getting spammed to death and we all migrated (hehe) here.

True story! It has been a very long struggle.

Been here since at least 2010, I think I used to browse off an on unregistered before but only decided to make an account then.

Going back through my posts I wonder where has the time gone by? lol. I Remember when i turned 20 and the hopes and dreams I still had back then not knowing DACA was even gonna happen.
Now im struggling due to the uncertainty, definitely have my good and bad days, but at least I am better off now (Financially, Goals) than back then.

I also see other posts of people who posted back in 2010 saying a year or so before going back, etc.. makes me wonder what actually happened to them.

That is exactly how i feel, I am thankful for having had DACA but at the same time the uncertainty messes with your mind and your ability to set goals for your future with so many unknowns. I just recently starting seeing a therapist and im hoping it can help me cope and not lose my mind. Figured i'd take advantage as long as my insurance pays for it :/
