Major change to family-based immigration. For comparison, the Gang of Eight cut off sponsorship of siblings but they got pathway for 11m in return. WH is asking to cut it off for parents, siblings and adult children for 1.8m Dreamers. (Yes i know we are in diff political times)

Holy fuck

So more ice prisons ?

6/ The proposed new @realdonaldtrump expedited removal rules would vastly expand @icegov and @CustomsBorder powers in the *interior* of the U.S., effectively allowing them to deport hundreds of thousands of people *immediately* without seeing a judge or any due process.

I would be OK with this. I came here when I was fucking 8 years old, I didn't ask to be sucked into this dilemma.

President Trump and Republicans will not be allowed to use Dreamers as a bargaining chip for their wish list of anti-immigrant policies. It's time to enact the Dream Act, which has bipartisan support. #DreamActNow

And once again we’re getting no where smfh ......
I love when Democrats pretend that THEY don't also use us as bargaining chips. I'm so fucking tired of being a commodity rather than a person.

I am so conflicted about this. Very troubling to read about the increase of ICE and DHS agents and the VERY QUESTIONABLE reduction of due process for immigration cases.... yes, I will greatly benefit from this as a DACA holder but it will put my parents at even more at risk and other much older dreamers. This is like getting out of jail while the rest of the people I love are in death row.

Dear Democrats, lets not pretend you care. Yes you might be the lesser of evils but you're using as hostage as well. Your using as donation hostages, as well as election hostages. It's time to stop with the hypocrisy or else you will feel the consequences come election time. Enough is enough, us too are no longer falling for your damn tricks.

Yeah, I was super excited at first but the more I’ve read the more terrifying this is becoming. Hopefully this is just a starting offer.
