It means that relief for our parents isn't anywhere to come in the future. If they treat us "kids" so badly, what do you expect them to do to our parents, the people that actually broke the law?

That's the logic of the claim.

I think that poster means that if all they give dreamers is temporary status, then that means our parents who are seen as morally more corrupt than us will not ever get any relief, which may be true for now with this administration. But things can change very quickly, and I think anything can happen.

I honestly do not think our parents will ever get immigration relief through the government. 11 million people is just too many. Reagan's amnesty covered only 3 million and that took a fight. 11 million just wont happen. The only chance our parents have is either through us (if we ever become citizens) or their u.s born kids. That is why it is very important to not let them end sponsorship for parents, at least to give them a GC even if it excludes citizenship.
