Voting is an important right, but I would give up that shit in a heartbeat if it meant I got to be a resident/citizen.

I would be glad to be able to vote but if it's a binary choice don't really care

Having citizenship and not being allowed to vote would be unconstitutional. Regardless, if something like that passed, I wouldn't mind giving up the ability to vote for 15-20 years. Fuck it. There are other ways to become active in politics
