September 2018 and early 2019 will be a big year for daca. Trump threatened to shutdown the government in September if his wall is not funded. If democrats can retake the house, it will be time for them make good on their promises. Not to mention the supreme court will also weigh in later this year or next year.

EVERYONE WHO CAN RENEW, SHOULD
These GOP AGs asked Federal judge to issue preliminary injunction to stop USCIS approving any permit in the future , so I guess all renewal applications will probably be denied ( unless it’s already approved before issuing date of such injunction if it happens). We just don’t know how this is going to end

I also have an 601a approved, but I I fear going to Juarez and getting stuck there specially since I was caught by the border patrol twice back in 2000. That is why I am thinking of renewing DACA again and hoping they bring back AP. Have you guys renewed for those that expire in 2019?
If you were caught by border patrol twice already you have a permanent ban my friend. Don't go to Juarez, you will definitely not be able to come back. The fact that you got a DUI makes you inadmissible as well. Expunged records still show up on DHS data bases.

My lawyer said it should not be an issue at the interview, since I was a minor when it happened. Have you heard anything different? :/
My lawyer said that was a huge issue and she recommended not to step foot outside the US as I have a permanent ban. She said the fact I was a minor would not matter in the eyes of the law. However, we did a little digging and we found out I was not in any DHS or FBI data base, only my mother was (they never took my fingerprints or anything). So I got lucky. This was pre 1997 before the bans were instituted and BP started taking data collection seriously.

Not true, sad! The permanent ban is only if one accrues unlawful presence for more than 6 months or a year then leaves and re-enters. I was caught twice and thrown back to Mexico the same day. Third attempt was the lucky one. Other people have throwbacks, and still adjust. Provided they never accumulated presence on these failed entries.

DUI is not a problem. Sad again! People have adjusted with DUI’s. The DUI could be a problem only if this is associated with harmful behavior. You my friend are a spreader if #FAKENEWS!

Trust me, I have talked to plenty of lawyers and done significant research.

The only problem is how you were disposed at the border. Was it expedited removal or voluntary departure? One can have many failed attempts and still adjust. Unlike what is8 claims, as long you never accumulated unlawful presence leave and come back. It still matters even if you were a minor. Before leaving, make sure you were not expedited removed. Do FOIA’s.

Wait, are we in a competition or something? What’s up with the personal attacks? R-E-L-A-X

oh crap! Now I'm seriously concern. Yeah, i was detained, fingerprinted, and taken back to Mexico on the same day. I guess that's expedited removal?

That could still be voluntary departure. Do a FOIA with cbp to know for sure. Expedited removal is like a deportation. This guy had DACA, went to Juarez for an interview and got denied. That is why I want to make sure because I’d rather have DACA. Approval of 601a does not guarantee visa approval.
