Question is will there be criminalization of the rest of the undocumented population or Sanctuary City crackdown added? Those things will be poison pills. There should be no need in the United States to have to put a provision about not separating children from their parents. I honestly don't recognize this country.

Man I love how I posted a pic of a rollercoaster way back when Trump won and it became a meme, I love you guys.

On topic: I got a bit too happy with these news I'm going to try to still assume the worst, so I don't get angry anymore. Hope the best happens, I just got a promotion to Lieutenant.

First CHIP and now preventing children and parent separation....Republicans like to use children as a power play move.

Reminds me of separated parents that want custody of their children, partly for the power it has, the upper hand.

Politics at work here.

I am in no way defending either party, just calling out the BS on both sides.

I hope there isn't any internal enforcement.

As for children, I agree with you. But, the separations are happening, so . . . not supporting something like this looks bad (assuming there isn't any internal enforcement).

If there isn't any internal enforcement then it looks like a fair deal. Though we do have to wait for the details.
