I don't think what conservatives today were the conservatives even 10 years ago. Before, the republican party was for immigration. They were for open and free trade. They were for fiscal responsibility. They cared about the military and allies.

Today, it seems like none of those things are true. Billions have to be paid by Americans in tariffs because of this trade war. On top of that, the trade war is also with long time American allies. Then because of this trade war, farmers are getting screwed. So the government have to bailout the farmers (some would say this is socialism).

Wall funding is coming out from military spending (reducing / delaying military family benefits). It was "Mexico is going to pay for it", then "the American tax payer will pay for it", now it's "the military will pay for it". Makes no sense. On top of that, the president have said some terrible words towards military families and veterans, not to mention he dodged the draft.

The head of the executive branch said he trusts a long time adversary's words over American intelligence.

This month is the biggest deficit the US government has ever seen. The tax cuts put the government in more in debt and favors the wealthy.

I don't have to describe what's happening with immigration, we all know.

Tell me what conservative values are still left that haven't been broken when they controlled every single branch of the government. If you're an actual conservative and seeing these events unfold, I don't know how you can still remain 100% conservative and rationalize it.

1. Mexico just they just elected Andrés Manuel López Obrador (left wing party MORENA) and he won by a landslide.
2. Majority in El Paso Texas votes for Democrats and mostly come from Mexico. Similar in other cities across the USA.
3. Trump got only 29% of the Hispanic vote.

These facts don’t validate your claim that true Mexicans are conservatives. You wish.
