Wtf you talking about, it says in the article he crossed the border to see his family. He didn’t know you can’t leave this country without AP? And I do feel bad for him coz I remember him from the early days.

He has a bachelors and a masters on CS so we can safely assume he’s no idiot

He had a mental down breakdown. You know those moments you have here when you say stuff like you knowing since day one trump wasn’t going to be killing daca or attending his rallies or saying how you’re donating to his campaign

This is true. I would have worked at Starbucks while I looked for a dev job. And yes, I have no hatred towards the guy.

"Baldenegro said her son, a 37-year-old University of Arizona graduate, has been frustrated and felt desperate in recent years due to unemployment and the impossibility of freely traveling between the two countries."

Well now you know lil nigga, you cannot return. Stay in Mexico where you belong. Help amlo restore Mexico to its former glory as the crown jewel of North America.

or you could go to cananda like a pussy ass bitch too weak for Mexico.

Some of these illegal aliens are so caught up in what they don't have that they miss the big picture. They fail to count their blessings, are genetically predisposed to a weak mind, and don't have a higher power to turn to. Boo HOO but I dont have citizenship waaahh no permanent stay waahh. I say eff that. I have DACA, i've already lived here for decades. As far as im concerned I already got the "loot." Documentation of permanent ownership of the loot is just paperwork. YOU"RE ALREADY HERE BITCH, YOU WON. 99% of the world would give an arm and a leg to live in the states like we do.

Also border patrol are not required to provide hygiene products. They arent required to even let them be in temporary holding stations, by law they must prevent illegal entry. The illegal immigrants are not owed anything, they chose to be there, they chose to put themselves in that situation. This is not a case of the mean ol government, in this case, its the government following the rules as they are written. Don't like it?, get your legal friends to put effort into getting laws changed.

Here here!

I understand that point of view, but for a lot of people staying here without the option of leaving feels like prison. Nothing in life is black or white, we need to be able to understand what other people are going through as well.

I, for one, don’t blame him for leaving since he already has his education. What I don’t agree with is that he did it without thinking, he let his feelings get the best of him.

You misunderstand, you always have the option of leaving. No border guard will stop you from leaving. No cop will stop you on your way out. You only don't want to leave cause you don't want to lose your place in line. They aren't stopping you from leaving, this is not a cage. If anything they are happy to see you leave. Sorry that you still have things in Mexico is elsewhere, but the vast majority have nothing to do over there.

We are not in prison, you can leave whenever you want. You just can't return. I wouldn't leave until I'm set solid. We'll see though. Lil Beano has his paperwork, he might get a good job in Mexico City while beans here can't even make it past interviews for Wendy's.

He'll definitely be able to land a job anywhere else in the continent with a graduate level education from the US and proper knowledge of the language. Some people are freaking out like it's the end of his life, it's not, he'll fine.

Now on to the other thing, yes, nobody is stopping you from leaving, but you can't come back. That's exactly what I'm getting at. I, for example, don't have much in my home country but my family is spread out across the globe and I can't visit them. That is what I meant when I said for some it feels like prison, because sure you might be able to do mostly everything within the borders, but you're not allowed to step outside. I'm not saying leaving permanently, I mean just leaving to visit family or a simple vacation. Some of you might not have anything outside of the States and have no reason to leave, and more power to you, but that's not the reality of some, and when we learn to empathize and understand what others are going through maybe we'll start to move forward as a society.
