There could be immigration lawyers who are conservative and think that immigrants are flooding the system and causing backlogs and there could be others who are more liberal and think that the current system is very unfair to a lot of people.
right but you choose a career where you hate your clients? You represent people that you want deported out of the country?

A big portion of US educated young people, especially Dreamers, are of left wing ideology and don't understand the concept of laws.

Our parents broke US law to bring us here but somehow that is Trump's fault.

Obama/Biden failed to pass immigration reform. They dont care about immigration until election day.

It's hard for many to fathom that people actually support conservative points of view.

Only the media and wall street/corporate American is pro Dem, pro Leftist open borders.

Stop future Dreamer waves. No one deserves the hell Dreamers have to deal with because of both Republican and Democratic failed leadership on immigration.
We aren't any morally superior to our parents because we consciously continued to break the law by staying here illegally as soon as we became adults. We had the free will to leave and go by the book as soon as we became adults, but we decided to stay.

Mens rea. Actus rea. Causation.

Get ready for Trump's loss.

Smooth has a point. You're an adult now. You're breaking the same laws your parents are breaking. Why not be a man and leave?

Honestly the system could be fixed by doing any one of the following:

1. Putting in place a statute of limitations. The government doesn't successfully remove you in 10 years, you get permanent residency.
2. Reinstating 245(i), fine, you broke the law, find a sponsor, wait through any appropriate backlog, pay a fine, file for AOS.
3. Getting rid of re-entry bans, similarly to 245(i), fine, you broke the law, find a sponsor, wait through the appropriate backlog, leave, go grab your immigrant visa, and return.

What we're seeing right now is a direct consequence of IIRIRA where they got rid of old version of 245(i) and placed re-entry bars, and the illegal immigrant population ballooned because the safety valves were removed. Lets face it, people will always overstay, stowaway or get smuggled on a ship or a plane, or hop across a shitty TrumpCo. fence. Just before IIRIRA you could eventually get right with the law one way or another, right now what option(s) do you have? Marry a USC, become a parent to a USC and try COR or wait 21 years, go get shot in the hood to get a U-visa, or try a hail Mary with asylum since you better have a good reason you didn't file within 1 year as mandated by the RealID Act.

it is hilarious to be a dreamer and a young republican, talk about a confused fella. talk about poor judgement., the hypocrisy of it blows my mind

It has to be Russian propaganda, or a proud boy type, trying to confuse Dreamers.

So as DACA, we are required to get REAL ID? I thought this is only for flying domestically?

Yeah, the system was broken. Clinton had a lot of blame for it. He wanted to appear tough on immigrants for his reelection. Democrats need to write their wrongs for us in the upcoming 4 years. DACA has a lot of support right now and long as Biden wins we will get some form of pathway to legalization.
