Sure looks that way.

RIP form I-944 (2020-2020).

Why would I support Trump now...clearly he will not be the one passing immigration reform, particularly Dreamer legalization...sure looks like there’s a good chance Joey will though so I’m on the Joey/Kammy boat now. Now excuse me..I’m off to Breitbart to enjoy the comments section after SCOTUS threw that case away...I’m an Accountant and even I know that case was total BS
Lmao I been on trump twitter comment section and just LOL all day

No, if you look at 2face history he never changed his objective. His goal is to get Dream Act to pass no matter what. His goal was never about Immigration Reform like some of us. He was willing to give up more than CIR supporters to get DA passed but he never once faltered against the goal of DA. To me he's been pretty consistent. Anyways he's team blue now. There's no point to beat your own ally when we got crazy Trumpers to beat.

Yeah it's over! Biden would of removed it anyways during his term. My brother is graduating a semester early and got his job offer as a software engineer so we are getting a lawyer now to do the same. My father has a issue with getting caught with a fake passport so he doesn't have a route for a fraud waiver. We working with lawyer now to see if there's any path. Did you start the process yet?

Petition mother first, and later use the now LPR mother as a qualifying relative for an I-601 for the father?

I posed this situation to a lawyer about 6 month ago and he said it was a possibility. I'm asking this new lawyer as well of this situation. Do you think that is a solid plan? Do you know how long it usually take for child sponsorship for a parent?

Child Sponsor - Parent Beneficiary is an IR petition, so just the processing time (12-18 months these day).

Personally I've done (and won) cases cases like that back when I worked in immigration law. Craziest one was for a client (petitioned in EB3), who's sister was a USC, who petitioned for their mutual parents in order to use the now LPR parents as qualifying relatives for an I-601A.

Sweet, thank you for the info! I'm going to have the lawyer proceed this week and see what comes of it.

Here I am - paying a teacher's salary in taxes each year. SMDH. I would love for someone like my cousin to be excluded from the permanent residency eligibility due to lying and abusing the system.
If he/she is abusing the system illegally, report them. Based on your assertions, you seem to just be interested in perpetuating a false narrative that undocumented immigrants are en masse taking welfare.

Also if you’re paying a teacher’s salary (40-50 k) a year in taxes (especially in a no state tax state like Florida), then you’re either making too much to care about a random cousin’s actions or you need someone to help you avoid overpaying taxes.

Does this apply to all states? According to the article it does not.
