why the heck would they give us any pathway to citizenship? We're just a cash cow for social security. We're contributing to the tax pool alright... But would we ever be able to claim any of it?? Fuck no..... On top of that these people have the audacity to say immigrant don't pay taxes...

the biggest issue with Rs is grant immigrants citizenship and voting right. It's assumed that the majority of immigrants will vote D.

If citizenship was taken off and replaced with some form of permanent protection, there would be a deal.

The problem is with Democrats and big immigrant organizations messaging...why do they have to say "Citizenship now" instead of "Path to conditional residency...". That is the core problem. It is impossible to have a permanent solution without citizenship at SOME POINT...that would be considered second class citizen...The core problem is with big time immigrant organizations demands of "Abolish ICE...GIVE citizenship to all."

Don't worry about permanent protection...that is what we have right now...DACA ain't going anywhere believe me..it is here to stay for a VERY long time, just have to renew every 2 years. That is what the immigrant groups want...they want it to remain forever.

Democrats are all talk....Totally disappointed in Harris...she's got no clue...very radical...she's too busy positioning herself for 2024...Joey should have picked someone else.
