It is baffling how many dreamers fail to understand the point you just made. They automatically assume that holding Democrats accountable makes us terrible people, when all we are demanding is accountability. You hit the nail on the head - Republicans have been very clear about their stance on us. They do not profit from our situation and do not just seek votes.

I believe this is a major factor in the recent losses of the Democrats. It is not just the dreamers, but the fact that they become too complacent once in power and forget the promises they made to their constituents, resulting in inaction. It wasn't surprising that President Trump was able to secure over 40% of the Latino vote. An achievement that no other Republican candidate was able to accomplish. This highlights the current weaknesses of the Democratic party, as they are failing to retain support from various demographics.
