Here are some of my favorite titles:

Shakespeare - "Macbeth", "Hamlet"
Homer - "Odyssey" (No, not Homer Simpson. Would be cool though!
Dr. Richard P. Feynman - "The Pleasure of Finding Things Out", "What Do You Care What Other People Think?"
Brian Greene - "The Elegant Universe"

Most highly recommended title (if you believe in the infinite potential of the human mind and want to look for a greater meaning to stuff in life) go for "The Soul of the Samurai" by Thomas Cleary. It is an amazing read. It has stuff on martial arts but the philosophy and the path shown in the book is simply amazing.

That was lightweight stuff. I plan on finishing 6 books:

Theoretical Physics
Mathematical Physics
Advanced Linear Algebra
Relativity, Cosmology and Tensor Calculus
Fourier Series
Advanced Partial Differential Equations

That was just books. You can also try something new like starting to write stories, poems, etc (stuff I do in free time and its not that hard) or do something completely unrelated to what you have done in college (assuming you are in college).

If you still have some time after reading all those books already suggested, you should check out "All Over But the Shoutin'" By Rick Bragg

I really loved this book; it's basically an autobiography of Rick Bragg that goes into depth about all the hardships he had to face in life but still managed to make quite a career for himself and eventually received the Pulitzer prize for his writings. He's such a great writer, it's an easy and enjoyable read. It really teaches that one should never give up on their dreams despite the difficulties standing in the way =)

Have a nice break!

I'm about to read The Audacity of Hope. I also want to read A Team of Rivals.

Note: Dream2oo7 if you are looking for a good MCAT book, get the Examkrackers set. It is expensive, but very good. I hope to get it this month.

Thanks i'll check it out! where can I get it? just any Barnes & Noble or Borders?

By the way, I think it would be cool to publish a book with a compilation of our life stories. Hey I'd buy it! plus some books in the past had influences on the passing of legislation i.e. As a result of the publication of "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair, congress passed laws regulating the meat packing industry.

read "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte its pretty sweet.. or "The Alchimist" by Paulo Coelho both are really good.

the twilight series is ok..they are quick and easy to read.. you can finish all four in a couple of days.. the second book sucked .. it dragged. the other three are good, especially the last one.

Dont read "things fall apart"... it sucks.. i dont know why its so popular = / imo
