So if the problem is the northern border wouldnt she be able to maybe take a train that stops around Nebraska/Kansas/Missouri/Iowa (one of the mid-land states) and then goes back up to Seattle? It would be very unlikely for ICE to raid a train traveling in the middle of the country.

Certainly, but I mean..taking any train from NY isn't really safe. They don't even advise undocumented people to take the Greyhound upstate, because as I've mentioned, the proximity of the Canadian border.

I just check your post...

DON'T FLY...unless you have a goverment issue id that is not from other country.

I had a fly from California to Floria and they asked me why my mexican passport didn't had the stamp. I was stop and questioned by 10 people and they detained my friends for like two hours.

They wanted me/or my buddies to spill the soup but I never admitted anything. I didn't lie either. Have you ever seen Nixon's head in futurama? Anyway, a guy from the airport told my friend never to let me fly because they were being more careful. They say that once you give them any ID, you are practically giving your permision for them to inquire whatever they want.

I used to be able to fly with my college ID but they have been asking for more in recent times. The people in the airport have the sticker of homeland security and that is no joke.

I don't know how it is for other people. I know some of you are European but I don't know how they will react. They told my friend that they were suspicious, not by my dark skin but by the fact that I was traveling with a foreing passport inside the country.

Sorry for the long post.

Ouch!...actually you have a point. Didn't mean to drive you paranoid. It is just that what happened on the airport was really scary and I don't want someone else to endure it. At the time I ask many online friends and everybody told me it was safe and it was cool and asure me that everything was going to go smoothly. I didn't happen.

Still, I do believe in the principal rule of telling people to shove it and do what you need to do. In that case, do what seems to fit the case and then tell us what you did so that we can learn from you.
