I'm in the same boat. They received my application on April 6, and at this rate I'm beginning to wonder if I should start making plans to wait for another couple months.

Maybe I should have just procrastinated and sent mine in at the last minute.

Wow so I took my biometrics on August 8.

I hadn't been checking my status because I assumed it would take at least 2 months but today I got the 821d approval letter and it appears my i765 was also approved although it doesnt say card is under production.

My timeline is

Application received 6/22
Biometrics done 8/8
765 approved - 8/17 (card not under production yet)
821d approved - 8/22

Nebraska Service Center by the way

Went to a second InfoPass today and got a service request out of it.

It was actually refreshing talking to them though, they understood the issue and they leveled with me, that all the power is at the service center. They can see that their is activity, but they are handicap by the process, they mentioned that they are glorified Tier 2 agents. They said the 'extensions' are at the mercy of the Service Center as well, they can't process any benefits at the USCIS Offices. The supervisor is like, you are not the first one, and won't be the last one, but even complaining to their bosses USCIS.gov doesn't change their website to reflect this.

Even at that level they are not versed with ELIS, they view their information from whatever is in CLAIMS 3/4, and its superficial. They see some items, but he said it just shows its in adjudication with the caseworker, but cannot see whats pending. They couldn't even see that my bios were completed, which I can see in my own ELIS dashboard....

I guess it's more waiting and emailing, and stressing... Same ole same ole.

Yeah took me like six tries to get this info myself because they kept telling me incorrect information. Pretty much the only thing we can do is wait and ask for updates. There's unfortunately no reprieve or any recourse we can take against the USCIS.

I was going to schedule InfoPass to ask about not receiving my biometrics appointment but from reading your comment I'm not sure if I should. Do you recommend going for infopass?
