Did you use 245(I) aka (I-485 supplement A form) to adjust your status? I'm using 245(I) based as a grandfathered deriviate beneficiary to forgive me for unlawful stay for the past 20 years. Had to pay an extra $1,000 penalty fee to use 245(I)
I see why you used 245i since you were EWI.

Either way all I can do is prepare well with the lawyer and hope for the best and hope for an interviewer that is compassionate. My interview is on September 20th. I came here in 1995 when I was 7 years old and I'm ready for all of this to be over!
Did you have evidence of 245i?

Unauthorized work is forgiven under 245i as well as AOS with marrying a USC Spouse.

Update, Dropped off my medical back at USCIS office with agent. In 2 hours my card was in production!!!! It was a shock at first cuz it could taken a lot longer than I thought to get approved. I hope to get my new card in a couple weeks I hope. I still wont believe it till I have it my hands.

I do thank everyone especially Pianoswithoutfaith, Demise, Chyno(banned lol), brolando, and the rest of the clan. It only took 2 years and a lot of patience. Good luck to all!

What questions did the Immigration Officer ask?

A few questions from the I-485 packet.

What document(s), if any did they ask for at the interview? Did they ask for originals and/or copies? Did they make any photocopy of your documents?

He asked for a copy of the I-130 approval that was it.

Which I-485 YES/NO questions did they ask and which one(s) did you answer YES to and still got approved for Permanent Resident?

Have you ever been arrested? (YES)

Were there any questions asked that were not on the I-485 form and/or did the Immigration Officer ask for further question(s) to why you answered YES/NO to a certain question of the form?

No.

How long was your interview?
15 Minutes at the most.

Did you bring your lawyer with you?
No, but my lawyer prepared my whole case.

Did your lawyer speak at the interview?
No.

Were you recommended for approval during your interview? If yes, when did your online status change?
Yes, the IO said that I would receive my PR by the end of the month. My case status changed to "card is in production" on the 12th of this month.

Did you get a I-72 form? RFIE/RFE during your interview?
No.

What/How did you dress for the interview?
Casual.

Did you had DACA?
I sure did. Had DACA since 2014

Was it 245i benefit?
No.

Please tell us what you learned from your lawyer regarding preparation of your Green Card interview?
A well prepared packet is key.

#71 is yes read the question carefully and literally keyword here is “ever” So yes

Read each question carefully and literally

Hopefully someone in here can give a second opinion

I think I was really stressed out with all the questions but I took your advice and read everything carefully and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Thank you!

Any YES on your end?

I have 2 YES's but my lawyer made that decision and I am also protected on those 2 YES's from 245i law.

after a long wait, FINALLY my 485 got approved today. PD is July-2017, went to the interview January of 2018, but I forgot to bring my medicals with me, took it a week after, and didn't receive any updates for an entire year, but today.... it said card in production. So excited. For the ones still waiting, am not sure if telling you to wait will mean anything but all i can say is hang in there folks.
