I am including a copy of my mothers old I-130 which was approved on April 2 2001 that my grandfather that filed it for her who was a U.S. Citizen at the time (he has passed on) and my birth certificate showing my mothers name for "child and mother relationship" existed and also including prove of my presence before and after December 20 2000.

Thanks for the info, My US citizen spouse also petitioned for me but I also self filed all the paperwork and sent it off to USCIS. I'm just nervous because Its always nerve racking when you deal with immigration. :-/ I hope I get approved and hope for no RFE. I have no criminal history and no run ins with immigration. Since I'm under DACA and I've been here unlawfully for a period of time I'm applying for 245i. However my basis for applying 245i is slim at best and it honestly depresses me. Either way all I can do is prepare well with the lawyer and hope for the best and hope for an interviewer that is compassionate. My interview is on September 20th. I came here in 1995 when I was 7 years old and I'm ready for all of this to be over!

A few questions from the I-485 packet.

What document(s), if any did they ask for at the interview? Did they ask for originals and/or copies? Did they make any photocopy of your documents?

He asked for a copy of the I-130 approval that was it.

Which I-485 YES/NO questions did they ask and which one(s) did you answer YES to and still got approved for Permanent Resident?

Have you ever been arrested? (YES)

Were there any questions asked that were not on the I-485 form and/or did the Immigration Officer ask for further question(s) to why you answered YES/NO to a certain question of the form?

No.

How long was your interview?
15 Minutes at the most.

Did you bring your lawyer with you?
No, but my lawyer prepared my whole case.

Did your lawyer speak at the interview?
No.

Were you recommended for approval during your interview? If yes, when did your online status change?
Yes, the IO said that I would receive my PR by the end of the month. My case status changed to "card is in production" on the 12th of this month.

Did you get a I-72 form? RFIE/RFE during your interview?
No.

What/How did you dress for the interview?
Casual.

Did you had DACA?
I sure did. Had DACA since 2014

Was it 245i benefit?
No.

Please tell us what you learned from your lawyer regarding preparation of your Green Card interview?

#16 to be %100 honest say yes and explain better on part 14 that you did it to Help family or something to that effect .
#17 is no since you never had a non immigrant status
#23 is no daca doesn’t apply
#71 is yes read the question carefully and literally keyword here is “ever” So yes

Read each question carefully and literally
