Ok yesterday I received a text/email regarding my i821D, when I logged into my account I could see the notice, which I immediately printed out and saved. but still no update in my EAD. ..
I also wanted to mention that I contacted NILC, congressman and tier 2 rep before my approval. Yesterday I received a letter from my congressman dated Aug. 19th, in which they stated that USCIS had a delayed in my background check but I should receive an update in the next 90 days.

Not sure if it was NILC or my congressman that made a difference but I did get approved on Aug. 23rd. n regards to NILC, Ignacia was the one who contacted me and flagged my case on Aug. 15th. Shiu took over after Ignacia left on PTO.. but both of them were nice and Shiu did follow up with me so I told her I had been approved.

Now it is just a waiting game for my ead....

receipt date 4.10 priority date 4.6
bios 5/5
approval 8.23
expired on 8.17
waiting on ead...

Also, I spoke to a lawyer yesterday about my case (lack of bios after so long) and he basically told me what everyone here has been finding out for themselves: there's basically nothing you can do to change anything on a DACA application (although a rare number of people got lucky), so he just told me to wait.

He also mentioned that he had heard of people receiving letters notifying them that their old biometrics would be used to avoid a delay in their case. He asked me if I got a letter to that effect and I said no. So he said to wait some more.

Our conversation was brief and that's all he mentioned... as he was speaking to me as a favor to my church pastor.
This is interesting, waiving biometrics? That sounds unlikely, I wonder if that is true... I have a feeling he just said that to get you to wait.

Hmmm we need to raise hell but idk what to do?
Have anyone submitted multiple e-requests one after another after they respond to it. Anyonewho got approved have any advice in regards to what you did (ie. how often you called, submitted e-requests, etc)
Thank you in advance!

I heard that from a tier 2 rep the other day... that's why I have no hopes of skipping bios, although the rep did tell me they can reuse bios... if not older than 15 months.

that is what the lawer was telling me... and he had no reason to lie to me as he could not care less about how I felt since I wasn't even a paying customer... but he mentioned so few details about it that it did not sound like it was a client of his that it happend to... so I'm considering it could just be hearsay or happened under some circumstance that does not apply to us...

I see, it was an interesting thought either way.

Well, just keep waiting.

I hope you got the Officer's name so you can file a complaint! Those calls are "recorded for training purposes"!
