I got that one week ago (last thursday 8/18 )... and nothing yet.

Same here. Sent on April 6, expired on 8/17, and nothing yet.

I don't want to even check my status today. It will just be upsetting. Day 22 of expired EAD. Still laying low at work.Everytime my supervisor calls my heart drops.

What does it mean when NILC "flags" your case with the USCIS? What exactly does that do to my case?

I believe it brings it to the attention of USCIS if it is just sitting in que waiting for approval. If however they haven't approved it because they are waiting for a background check there is very little anyone can do but wait. USCIS will not approve an application until it completes all levels of checks.

My case too. I wonder if people who have had their cases flagged heard anything?

Also, I finished my bios 123 days ago... and when I called they told me the background check is still in process. I have never gotten a ticket etc... was that a lie to get me off the phone?

If I have completed my biometrics, how can they still be waiting for a background check? Is there a way for me to just re-do my bio?

Does NILC actually come back to you with individual feedback or nah?

Something freaking weird just happened. So I got the text update last night about my biometrics appointment being scheduled but today when I got home, I received a letter from USCIS saying that it is not necessary for me to appear at an ASC for a biometrics appt but the I821D application number is wrong on the notice. I looked it up on case status and that case has already been approved. My I765 application number is right though. WTF.

I just submitted a callback for my biometrics appointment to be faxed to me so maybe I can clear that up when they call me back but what the hell seriously...
