Hey fellow august apps. Couldn't sleep tonight and just figured I get on here. I used to be on espn.com all the time now its this website. ha
Anyway there's a lot of ppl with those extended background checks, do you all think we're in the same boat when it comes to that? Also do you think age might be a factor? My sister was approved in the normal timeframe of 30 days after bios. She's 21 and is just finishing up undergrad. On the other hand, I'm 27, grad school graduate, founder of my own business. So maybe all that has to do something with it? I now have thise great exec training program waiting for me, well waiting for USCIS Nebraska. So it sucks that we have to wait so long but I guess this is part of it all. The whole " why let some ppl skip the line, while other who have done it right have to wait in line" speech. Funny to be on the other side of it now. At least we can be grateful that we are waiting on something.

Dude I know having patience is good and all but enough is enough goddamnit. This is absolutely retarded now. I say this because it is a work permit application, those are always fast, but because DACA is involved they added in a statement that is stupid as shit that we must be approved dor daca first before our work permit begins processing. Just to fucking make retarded regulations. That DACA letter wont mean shit to me. "oh this person is safe for 1-2 years, after that hes an immigrant again LOL"

This is fuckin ridiculous. There's no explanation to this BS when u see November apps being approved. If theres a problem they should mail us an RFE or Intent to Deny.

Just filed DHS Form 7001 requesting case assistance. Hopefully the CIS Ombudsman will investigate my case and expedite it.

I know I will be waiting forever if I don't do something. If they were actively working on my case, they would have sent something by now. I will keep u guys posted on this.

aj hope you get to hear good news soon. the wait sucks and it sucks even worse when people who applied months after you are getting approved already!!!
